Questions

Questionnaire for 2020-21 (V. 1)

OVERVIEW
As of June 12, Iowa state government recommendations for these types of public-gathering events include the following two areas of concern for public gatherings in regard to CoVid-19:  cleaning plans for publicly-used items (bathrooms, sinks, tables, chairs, etc.) and social distancing (ability to maintain 6’ of distance between individuals or groups.)  The June 12 changes included dropping 'capacity' and 'group-sizes' recommendations previously on record.  Nebraska recommendations are similar.  "Mandates" have not been part of the equation since at least mid-May.
-Unless this changes, it will be up to us and our venue partners to decide if any further or more stringent protocols will or should be in place for rehearsals, meetings and performances "in person."
-WE ARE FULLY COMMITTED TO THE SAFETY AND HEALTH OF EVERY COMPANY MEMBER AND EVERY PATRON AND WILL ACT ACCORDINGLY USING OUR BEST JUDGEMENT AND BEST PRACTICES FOR DOING SO.  AS A GENERAL OBSERVATION, WE DO NOT SEE THE CURRENT STATE RECOMMENDATIONS AS WHOLLY SUFFICIENT RIGHT NOW (MID-JUNE) BUT WILL CONTINUOUSLY MONITOR AND EVALUATE DEVELOPMENTS AS AUTUMN COMES CLOSER.
POSSIBLE PERFORMANCE OPTIONS:
  1. -Performed in-person, audience in-person, in same space

  3. -Performed on video (from separate locations,) audience via video platform (maybe in 'real time/live', maybe recorded)
  4. -Radio Play (same as # 3, without the 'video' part.)
  5. -Some combination or hybrid may reveal itself.....
REHEARSAL OPTIONS:
  1. -In-person in the same space (with 'distance' if/as necessary)
  2. -On video in real time (video software platform)
  3. -On video individually or in small groups (in the manner of 'film-making'-video software platform)
  4. -Some combination or hybrid may reveal itself....

    Your Info and Responses

    * = REQUIRED FIELD

    1.  What role/s or job/s were you in at the time of postponement in Mid-March?

    2. At this moment, are you still available and planning to be part of the production/s in the same manner, generally, as when it/they was/were postponed (role, job, etc.)?
If “No” or "Maybe" please give a brief explanation of the situation.
    Stripped:  September and October, 2020
Atlas of Mud:  March 1 through May 15, 2021 for rehearsals.  Design meetings as early as January.

    3. Are there other, *non-Covid-related* circumstances that could arise which would cause you to change from “Yes” to “No”?  If yes or maybe, what are they?

    4.  If you plan to stay with the project/s, please indicate your general and specific conflicts, including any work requirements, for the potential rehearsal and performance period *to the degree that you know them now*.  We understand these may change.
    Stripped:  September and October, 2020
Atlas of Mud:  March 1 through May 15, 2021 for rehearsals.  Design meetings as early as January.

    5.  Do you have access to reliable internet connection, equipment, logistics, and quiet space that would allow you to meet, rehearse and/or perform via video-link?  If “No” or "Maybe" what would need to occur to make it possible?

    6.  Do you have any experience using virtual meeting/chat programs?

    7.  Do you have any experience working with editing or creating online video projects?
If "yes" could you briefly describe?

    8.  Assuming the situation described above for PERFORMANCES and REHEARSALS, restrictions, and other safety protocols remain in place or improve, and assuming that TheatreMidwest and its venue partners can safely maintain them, do you have other thoughts or concerns about participating, either by video or in person?  As a reminder, our Performance and Rehearsal options are listed at the top of this page.

9 Have you had or knowingly been exposed to CoVid 19?
