Season 4 |
We are excited to announce our 4th Season here at TheatreMidwest! We'll kick off the season in December with Dairy Queen by Sarah Loucks who set this play in a Boone, Iowa Dairy Queen! Look for our 2nd Fresh Produce Reading, Burst, in February and our fully staged project, Kitchen Killers, featuring 3 plays in Spring of 2022.
Trapped in your hometown, trapped in your own lies, or trapped in love, this season has something exciting and desperate to say about our complicated lives. |
A FREE CONCERT READING SERIES focused on new works, new looks at old works, and, most importantly, an ever-widening range of voices that speak to the Midwestern experience. Just as professional and compelling; slightly more economical than our major productions. Don't miss these!

"Concert Reading? What's That?"
Using lecterns, a stage-directions narrator, and no technical elements, these readings focus entirely on the story and the actors--literally, the play's voices. |
When the Dairy Queen manager is away, the teenage employees will play.
